Sad :( But my CGPA only went up by 0.01!! *sobsob* 1st class honors gone~~~

 

Happy :) Working at RedDot is still fun! Another customer said im beautiful!! LOL.

 

Sad :( No longer as new as a newcomer =X (can anyone understand this? hee)

 

Happy :) RedDot hired a band!! YAY! can listen to songs while i serve :D

 

Sad :( Work very tiring x_x worked till midnight ydae. slept at 2am :(

Met JieYing they all to celebrate JieYing and Kenneth's bday! They are my very good primary schoolmates :) yep we still keep in contact until now. Ocassionally meeting to go out and watch Japanese movies, blah, blah, blah. Too bad that day i have to work so we couldnt watch any movie.. Paiseh! but still... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :)

Work was okie last Saturday except that ot was rather boring coz its so not busy! LOL waiting for time to pass to that i could go and meet Lamerz for the movie: You Dont Mess With The Zohan. That movie was one of the worst comedy i have ever watched. Although there are some funny moments, but overall the movie was horrid. Sorry Adam Sandler... ...

After the movies i chionged home to grab a few hours of precious sleep... woke up at 12nn. washed up and chionged out again. This time it's sentosa outing with AJCians. Walked like 1+km den we reached the beach. haha, we simply wanna trust our totally UNRELIABLE navigation skills! haha! Saw HueyEng and MeiSi over dere since NBS is ahving their senior camp over dere.. .. Played beach volley and frisbee until very chui! hah. den we met the rest of those who refused to go Sentosa in VivoCity. Makan-ed then we jalan jalan while and all of us went home. i became more CHUI... ...

Hangover from the restless weekend. But still i went out with MingLin on a shopping trip@ Bugis. But more of the time im listening to her pour her woes. yep this ger got something that's bothering her... Shall nt elaborate. Anyway, i bought a top AGAIN! hehe

Nua at home :) Went out with my uni friends and we bitched ALOT. i was their storyteller! hah.

Moral of the story: The longer u stay in the resource room, the more ppl u know and the more stories u know *hehe* :D

 

25 June

Dragged my feet to work coz i suddenly felt damn sad (PMS) hah. everyone in the restuarant could tell. kept asking me if im okie anot. Yep so thanks Bobby, John, Umesh, Chris, Dhan, muratti, May, Winston the cook and the head chef. they made the night felt slightly better. Since im PMS-ing, nothing went well for mi tonite. I actually poured 2 glasses of water onto these two POOR customers accidentally. I was so distracted. Initially i was pulling this "balancing 8 glasses of water on the tray" stunt quite well until this poor customer suddenly jerked back. Then, i also jerked back due to reflex action and that's when i totally lost balance and poured the entired 2 glasses of water onto the customers.. ... I was so sad that i almost cried on the spot... ... dunno what came over me, make me so emotional tonite. haiz, hope that will never ever happen again. *prays*

Haha working @ RedDot is getting more interesting coz there's really many interesting customers. I met two of such customers this evening.

 

Customer A is not an angmoh. He's with a group of non-angmoh people. They ordered a number of beer so i kept serving them (today im the drinks runner) Then this funny guy purposely come over to the bar counter where im stationed at to ask me to go and take their main course order -.-" There's 3 of my colleagues stationed over at his aree he don't want, purposely walk over to me and ask me to take their order. so cute. When i asked him why, he said I'm more approachable. LOL, when I heard this i was like so happy. *hehehe*

 

Moral of the story: FUNGI IS NICE AND APPROACHABLE *HEHE*

 

Customer B is an angmoh.  Same thing, he ordered beer 1 pint after another and i kept serving him. The last pint i served him, he told me:" The more i drink, the more i find you attractive!" i nearly laugh until i want to die after he said that but i have to remain composed. LOL. that angmoh came with his family i think, den the wife (if im not wrong) like bu shuang with mi.hah. so funny. i served already den i zao liao.

 

Moral of the story: fungi is attractive!! (funniest joke i've ever heard!) MUahahahhahahhah!!!

 

LOL. so far working there is quite fun and the other colleagues are very nice. Just that the bartender im working with these 2 days is very dao den i also scared scared de. John always disturb me when he walk past; the other keep checking out if im coping well. :) Plus the lame HEAD chef keep disturbing whenever he's free and is walking around the resturant. Head chef damn good life lo. i always see him outside more than i see him in the kitchen de. hah.

 

well that's it! i damn tired but i must press on! going to finish this cross stitch that im supposed to give it to JieYing for her bdae later! ganbatte!!! *woosh* Byebye!

i lead a miserable, pathetic life.

YAY i finally get to blog!!! hehe. it seemed like ages that i didnt blog since im busy with going to Indoor Stadium to watch the Aviva Open :) It really feels different to watch a badminton match live and watching it on television. one word: COOL!!

 

In the end, as expected, Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei grabbed the championship for men's single, beating Indonesia's Santoso in two straight sets. Lee Chong Wei's badminton skills are really god-like lo! He anticipated predicted MANY of SAntoso's shots!! And its as if he's on spring when he is on court playing! AMAZING!!~ World No. ! Lin Dan must be feeling damn threatened by this World No. 2. hah.

 

The rest of the matches were very enjoyable too. but Donna Kellogg from Denmark really disappointed the crowd in Indoor Stadium with her lack of sportmanship during the match. That was the first time i ever saw a YELLOW and then a RED card from the umpire!!! i never knew their existence until that day :( The disappointment was especially overwhelming for me because i like her for her skills in doubles. She was another amazing player to me. Yet, she did that. sian

 

I think i should stop this badminton talk. not as if those who read this will know who they are. I must cater to my audience also :)

 

anyways, i started my waitress job! It was quite fun! The people there are also very nice and fun to work with. *lucky* there's MAlaysians, Nepalese, Indian (yes, one from India, not just the ethnic group in Sg), Vietnamese and philipino. Me and this guy called Alan are the only Sinaporeans there :X

 

1st day of work was on a Friday, busy day. I was the food runner (yes, i run with the food) remembered the table sequence on the spot. was very difficult initially but now i got them down already! Im sucha smart ass! LOL. What's so rewarding about this role is that when you serve the food to the customers, they will LOOK at you, SMILE and say "THANK YOU!" Isnt it nice of them? I appreciated all these "Thank You-s"  alot and they made me want to serve them even better :) i got alot of fu wu jing shen right? Surprising since i have quite a temper.hee.

 

So yesterday we had this course in the resturant teaching us how to serve customers in the 'correct' manner. It was VERY boring but i did learn some things :) Role playing was fun also. I keep forgetting to 'ask' the 'customer' how they want the steak/lamb to be done. Got to be familiar with the menu since Im going to take order tml :X The funniest thing is that we were taught during the lesson that we are NOT SUPPOSED to touch the customers. BUT on the same evening, this angmoh woman said she felt so unloved coz i just took her friend's order and left without taking hers. HAHA. Then she asked me to pet her (by stroking her hair) i was so shocked la. In my mind i was like "DIE! HOW?! WHAT TO DO???!!!" I didnt take her order coz i saw her talking to her 2nd friend. Anyways, she is one cute and funny customer, my first interesting experience in  the resturant.

 

OYA after the lesson, the boss gave us a mini lesson on the beer we sell here. I tried all the beer already! Its very nice! Nicer than Henieken or Tiger beer! i like! You all should come down and try! wont be very expensive if you come between noon to 6pm to drink ;) oya and please DONT come when im working. it will be so paiseh! LOL :D Hope this job will make me learn manymany things :)

one word: disappointed

 

LOL i was relieved initially but when i heard the results of some others i was so disappointed. hah. shouldnt have asked or been told in the first place.

 

I am super competitive de lo. heard their grades I happy for them but bu shuang about myself lo. hehe.

 

Esp i lost to that particular person. I have been better all the time.

 

Nevermind, too late for grumble. Must work doubly hard next sem since i have to juggle between studies, tuition, and this new waitress job. >.<

 

 

 

 

    

 

yep, this bloody nice place is my next working location : Red Dot brewhouse.

 

so nice rite? got a high class feel rite? heh heh! =)

 

its a semi fine dine resturant cum bar place for the angmoh to relax! its @ Dempsey Road! woohoo!

 

pay wise not very good but its the experience that counts! see many angmoh and most importantly the good looking angmohs!!! WOOT! but i hope i can prove myself so i can have a pay rise ASAP.hehe, $$ is still very important u know??  PLUS my meals will be provided by the resturant!! pengz, so good lo! hehe! *yumyum* Hope they dont give me some cheesy food to eat *keeping my fingers crossed*

hah, its just a normal Saturday... that's what i thought so.

 

Just another lame Saturday with 3 lamerz and mahjong. then go BP makan and that's it. but NO loh! dont know why suddenly the four of us so spontaneous! Wear until so chui still dare to hit town after our usual mahjong session! Whahahahah. Went to marina Square to have Sakae's supper buffet.. ..

 

Aim: 80 plates (20 plates each)

we ate: 60 plates

 

haha that aim was rather impossible since we are really stuffing sushi down our throats. diedie also want to eat as much as we can. Wilson and I eat until we want to vomit already. dieded~ but their strawberry smiles are quite nice!~ haha i first time eat strawberries in my 20 years of life. hah. Anyway, peeps! DONT GO SAKAE SUPPER BUFFET! they dun have many thing left de lo. want to order this they dont have; order that also dont have! hmph! cheat my $$ de lo! lol. took a picture.. wilson place his camera at the edge of the sushi belt.. .. wonder what will happen if it were to fall onto the belt and just travel around the resturant. hah

   

    

 

 

Cineleisure's quite empty late at night but there's always this huge no. of ppl standing outside cine 24/7... ... hah. we found out that cine is still screening <WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS> bought tix immediately but it was the first row! That show was very humourous!!! but cameron diaz look veryveryvery old! but i still like her =) after the movie it was aroound 4 already! we finally parted ways lo! took each of our own nightrider back home.. i reached home in just 30 mins from town! so COOL lo! nightrider rox! oya we took pics while waiting for the movie @ LJS

slept for 3 hours the went to tutor roy. that boy is one cheeky fellow! hah. anyways, went back home to get my beauty slp and here i am now... ....

 

Am happy that lamerz (or mabbe just mi sk wil and zw) are finally going out to have fun rather than just going for stayover and mahjong only! muahhaha!
